NX50 Portwest Coverall made from Nomex® Comfort
Nomex® Comfort is new to our range. (93% Nomex®, 5% Kevlar®, 2% P-140 carbon fibre).
The fibres used in this fabric include 93% Nomex® which is an inherently flame resistant meta-aramid fibre that does not melt, drip or continue to burn, providing natural flame resistance without the need for a chemical treatment in the textile process.
These fibres are blended with 5% para-aramid Kevlar® for strength and is inherently antistatic by also incorporating 2% electrostatic charge dissipative P-140 carbon fibre for protection against electrostatic discharge hazards.
The fabric has a fluorocarbon finish providing oil and water repellency and helps to protect against stains.
